Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional patient care and clinical support under physician supervision
- Administer medications, injections, and perform EKGs/vaccinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical instruments
- Assist with patient intake, vital signs, and lab specimen collection
- Coordinate patient education materials and appointment scheduling
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Active Arizona Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart Association)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Pass background check and drug screening
