Responsibilities
- Provide clinical support including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist physicians with procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) systems accurately
- Coordinate patient flow and maintain sterile examination environments
- Administer medications and injections per physician protocols
- Handle insurance verification and billing documentation
- Deliver patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic, NextGen preferred)
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with documentation and compliance
- Valid driver's license for multi-site travel (FL positions)
