Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations and procedures
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring sterility and proper equipment
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and basic lab tests
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Administer medications and injections under physician supervision
- Schedule appointments and handle patient inquiries
- Coordinate with insurance providers for billing procedures
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA) required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification (current)
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Attention to detail and patient confidentiality
- Valid Massachusetts MA license
