Responsibilities
- Provide critical care for ICU patients with complex medical conditions
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and adjust care plans accordingly
- Document patient assessments and medical records accurately
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families on post-treatment care plans
- Maintain strict infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Current California RN license required
- BSN degree preferred (ADN with 2+ years ICU experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years ICU nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
