Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of 15+ nursing staff with precision and empathy
- Develop and implement patient care protocols ensuring compliance with JCAHO standards
- Conduct performance evaluations and mentorship sessions for nursing team
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care conferences and discharge planning
- Manage inventory control and equipment maintenance within the unit
- Lead quality improvement initiatives using data-driven approaches

Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required, MSN preferred
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience with 2+ years in leadership
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Proven expertise in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Demonstrated conflict resolution and team-building skills
- Ability to work rotating shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong analytical abilities with experience in process improvement
