Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and move products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Assist in the receiving, sorting, and organizing of stock to ensure accuracy.
- Packaging: Package items securely for shipment, ensuring all labels and barcodes are correctly applied.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack customer orders efficiently to meet daily shipping deadlines.
Qualifications
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Communication: Basic reading and writing skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred (not required for immediate consideration).
