Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Inventory Management: Accurately count, tag, and verify incoming and outgoing inventory to ensure stock levels match records.
- Packing & Shipping: Prepare packages for shipment, ensuring all items are securely wrapped and labeled according to shipping standards.
- Warehouse Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by sweeping, mopping, and organizing aisles.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and report any discrepancies to the shift supervisor immediately.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts and conveyors, following all safety protocols.
- Documentation: Complete daily paperwork, including pick lists and packing slips, with 100% accuracy.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED: Required; equivalent work experience accepted.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to Detail: Must be highly organized and able to follow strict safety and quality guidelines.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have reliable transportation to and from the Baltimore facility.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screen.
- Basic Math Skills: Proficiency in basic arithmetic for inventory counting and order processing.
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus but not mandatory.
