Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move products to and from storage areas using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery.
- Inspect incoming shipments for damage and accuracy, ensuring all items are properly documented.
- Organize inventory in designated storage areas to ensure efficient retrieval and minimal downtime.
- Maintain a high standard of workplace safety by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets and workflow goals.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions immediately.
- Assist in the preparation of customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (certification preferred but training available).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to verify inventory accuracy.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use handheld scanning devices.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
