Responsibilities
- Load and Unload: Safely load and unload trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock in the warehouse and ensure accurate inventory counts and organization.
- Safety Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all OSHA and company safety protocols.
- Quality Control: Perform rigorous quality checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure accuracy.
- Order Fulfillment: Assist in packing, labeling, and preparing orders for local and national delivery.
- Equipment Operation: Operate warehouse scanning equipment and basic inventory management software.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Basic Skills: Good reading and writing skills for reading safety labels, logs, and operational instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and overtime.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and a willingness to learn new processes.
- Transportation: Reliable personal transportation to and from the workplace.
