Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight safely and efficiently using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Verify incoming inventory against packing slips to ensure accuracy and prevent shortages.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
- Assist in shipping and receiving operations, including labeling and sorting.
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies to ensure workplace security.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and management regarding inventory needs.
- Perform physical labor including standing, walking, and lifting heavy objects.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills required for inventory counts and scanning.
- Valid driver's license is a plus but not strictly required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is necessary.
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Must be willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends if necessary.
