Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage incoming and outgoing shipments, and ensure accurate inventory records using our WMS system.
- Freight Handling: Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts to load, unload, and organize freight according to safety guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies to maintain a hazard-free working environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damages and report any discrepancies immediately to the shift supervisor.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a similar industrial setting is preferred.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by business needs.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is required for some driving duties within the facility.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy when handling inventory and documentation.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
