Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Implement process improvements to optimize productivity and reduce operational costs
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse associates
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations and company policies
- Manage inventory accuracy through cycle counts and system reconciliations
- Coordinate cross-functional logistics with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and KPI dashboards for senior leadership
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in distribution centers
- Strong proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, Manhattan Active)
- OSHA 30-hour certification and forklift operator credentials
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency by 20%+
- Excellent leadership skills with experience managing unionized teams
- Advanced knowledge of inventory control and FIFO principles
- Ability to analyze data and implement data-driven solutions
