Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and shipping
- Lead and mentor a team of 15+ warehouse associates
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and improve productivity
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Coordinate with transportation teams to maintain efficient logistics flow
- Analyze performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage inventory control systems and conduct regular audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience in logistics
- Strong knowledge of WMS systems and inventory control software
- OSHA certification and safety management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance improvements
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Valid Illinois driver's license required
