As a Shift Lead, you will oversee daily operations, ensure safety compliance, and mentor team members to maintain high efficiency standards.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations and ensure workflow efficiency.
- Manage inventory levels and oversee stock replenishment processes.
- Conduct safety inspections and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Train and mentor new warehouse staff members.
- Operate forklifts and other heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
- Prepare and pack orders for shipment with accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is preferred.
- Forklift certification is a plus but will be provided upon hire.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
