Responsibilities
- Perform clinical tasks including vital signs, injections, and ECGs
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) with precision
- Prepare patients for examinations and collect specimens
- Handle administrative duties including scheduling and billing
- Maintain sterile exam environments and inventory
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent required
- 1+ years clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic a plus)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
- Weekend availability (Sat/Sun shifts)
- Virginia state license/certification
