Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during weekend shifts (Sat-Sun 6am-6pm)
- Monitor patient vitals and administer medications per physician protocols
- Document patient records accurately and maintain HIPAA compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control procedures
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Current RN or LPN license in Texas (or actively pursuing)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities
- Weekend availability mandatory (no exceptions)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods (8+ hours)
- EMR/EHR proficiency (Epic experience a plus)
