Responsibilities
- Perform vital sign assessments and patient intake screenings
- Assist physicians with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records and documentation
- Prepare exam rooms and maintain sterile environments
- Provide patient education on treatment plans
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Handle inventory management of medical supplies
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday shifts)
- Basic ECG and phlebotomy skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- PA state license (if applicable)
- CPR/BLS certification
