Responsibilities
- Coordinate patient appointments and manage scheduling systems for weekend services
- Provide compassionate patient intake and triage support during peak weekend hours
- Assist with electronic health record documentation and data management
- Collaborate with on-call physicians and care teams for urgent patient needs
- Facilitate smooth patient flow through examination areas and treatment rooms
- Deliver patient education materials and discharge instructions
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and healthcare regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in healthcare preferred
- Minimum 2 years healthcare administrative or clinical support experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic or Cerner certification a plus)
- Strong interpersonal communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced weekend environments with high patient volumes
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
- Attention to detail with exceptional organizational abilities
