Responsibilities
- Supervise 8-12 weekend warehouse staff during 12-hour shifts
- Coordinate inventory management and order fulfillment processes
- Enforce OSHA safety protocols and conduct daily inspections
- Train new team members on equipment operation (forklifts, scanners)
- Resolve operational issues and escalate critical concerns
- Generate shift reports and productivity metrics
- Collaborate with day-shift managers for seamless transitions
Qualifications
- 2+ years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of WMS systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP)
- Flexibility to work weekends + occasional holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent (degree preferred)
- Valid Michigan driver's license
