Responsibilities
- Efficiently process incoming shipments and organize inventory in our state-of-the-art facility
- Operate material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) with precision and safety protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet weekend delivery targets
- Maintain accurate inventory records using our digital tracking systems
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards and company procedures
- Support order fulfillment processes for high-volume weekend operations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain company training
- Excellent teamwork abilities and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to our North Side Chicago location
- Flexible availability for Saturday/Sunday shifts (6 AM - 4 PM)
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
