Responsibilities
- Receiving & Storing: Inspect incoming shipments for damage, verify quantities against packing slips, and store merchandise in designated areas.
- Picking & Packing: Accurately select and prepare customer orders using handheld scanners and pick-to-light systems.
- Inventory Control: Perform cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure stock levels are current.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and conveyors.
- Facility Maintenance: Keep the warehouse floor clean, organized, and safe for all team members.
- Quality Assurance: Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies to ensure a secure work environment.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or retail stocking role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer literacy and the ability to use scanning equipment is a plus.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic with a focus on punctuality and attendance.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with team leads and fellow employees.
