Responsibilities
- Oversee weekend warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 5-8 weekend associates, ensuring safety protocols are followed
- Optimize workflow efficiency and resolve operational challenges in real-time
- Conduct quality checks on incoming/outgoing shipments and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with day-shift managers for seamless transition of operations
- Implement process improvements to enhance weekend productivity metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse or logistics supervisory experience
- OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Proficient in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to make quick decisions
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities
- Availability to work Saturdays and Sundays (6 AM - 6 PM)
