Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Monitor and document vital signs with electronic health records
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and treatments
- Maintain clean, sanitized patient environments and equipment
- Transport patients safely within the facility using proper techniques
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or willing to obtain immediately)
- Minimum 6 months healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds with proper body mechanics
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
