Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly upon entry and provide exceptional customer service throughout their shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating products and answering inquiries about merchandise, pricing, and promotions.
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently, processing transactions accurately and handling cash and card payments.
- Keep sales floors, aisles, and restrooms clean, organized, and fully stocked to maintain a high-quality shopping environment.
- Handle merchandise returns and exchanges according to company policy with a positive attitude.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including tagging and stocking new arrivals.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to and from work is mandatory.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with cash registers or POS systems.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
