Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year strategic roadmaps for 2026+ market evolution
- Identify and quantify disruptive trends across AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite and board stakeholders
- Develop patentable frameworks for future-proofing organizational capabilities
- Establish cross-industry innovation ecosystems with Fortune 500 partners
- Present foresight findings at global tech conferences and policy summits
- Mentor next-generation futurists in our Austin innovation lab
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Proven track record of implementing future-shaping initiatives
- Expertise in scenario planning and trend impact modeling
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or equivalent
- Experience leading $50M+ innovation portfolios
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method, SWOT 2.0)
- Public speaking at TED, Web Summit, or equivalent forums
