- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions using emerging technologies
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive trends impacting 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop predictive models for societal impacts of next-gen tech (neuro interfaces, synthetic biology)
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and government futurist initiatives
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable product development roadmaps
- Present visionary insights to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven narratives
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in futures research or strategic foresight
- Expertise in quantum computing, AGI development, or climate tech modeling
- Proven track record of launching products with 5+ year impact horizons
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Computational Sciences
- Deep understanding of ethical frameworks for emerging technologies (UNESCO AI ethics)
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Published thought leadership in futurist journals or tech white papers
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from futurists.org)
