Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap using horizon-scanning methodologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing next-gen products/services targeting 2026 market needs
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and emerging tech startups
- Conduct quantitative/qualitative research on disruptive trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board members for strategic decision-making
- Drive culture of innovation through hackathons, incubators, and intrapreneurship programs
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget allocation across priority domains
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, product development, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products/services (2019-2023)
- Deep expertise in emerging tech: generative AI, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or MBA from top-tier institution
- Published thought leadership in futurism/innovation (Harvard Business Review, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful 5-10 year strategic initiatives
- Certification in Foresight Methodologies (e.g., AC/FS) preferred
