Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 technological inflection points
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neural interfaces, and climate-resilient systems
- Develop patent-pending solutions for next-gen human-machine collaboration paradigms
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and national labs
- Present future-vision briefings to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in agile prototyping and rapid experimentation methodologies
- Monitor geopolitical and socioeconomic shifts affecting long-term tech adoption
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or Innovation Management
- 8+ years experience leading high-impact R&D initiatives
- Proven track record of developing patent-worthy technologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex scenarios
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Portfolio of published future-vision frameworks or innovation roadmaps
