As a key member of our Innovation Lab, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify paradigm-shifting trends, develop prototype frameworks, and lead initiatives that position Nexus as a global thought leader. You'll thrive in ambiguity, leverage cutting-edge tools, and translate complex future scenarios into actionable strategies.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, AR/VR) and assess their strategic impact by 2026
- Develop and maintain a dynamic innovation roadmap with clear milestones and resource allocation
- Design and facilitate cross-functional workshops to generate breakthrough concepts
- Prototype and validate future-state solutions using rapid iteration methodologies
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech incubators
- Present insights to C-suite and board members with compelling data-driven narratives
- Mentor junior futurists and cultivate a culture of experimental innovation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D, or technology consulting with proven impact
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies and future-trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Technology Management, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Strong background in prototyping and MVP development for experimental concepts
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Proficiency in foresight tools (horizon scanning, scenario planning, Delphi method)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successfully launched future-oriented initiatives
