Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological, economic, and social paradigms
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' whitepapers positioning FutureWorks as a thought leader
- Architect innovation roadmaps integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Advise executive team on strategic pivots and market entry opportunities for 2026 product launches
- Establish cross-functional 'Future Labs' to prototype next-gen solutions with industry partners
- Represent FutureWorks at global futurist forums and tech summits
- Mentor innovation teams on scenario planning and risk mitigation methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of developing trend-based corporate strategy for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or related field
- Exceptional executive communication skills with C-suite experience
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
