Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum computing, biotech fusion, climate tech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and Fortune 500 companies
- Present visionary frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent portfolios and intellectual property strategy
- Mentor junior innovators in emerging technology domains
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 5+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record in scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, space tech)
- Exceptional stakeholder management across global organizations
- Prior experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Published thought leadership in innovation or futurism journals
