Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, integrating AI, quantum computing, and sustainable tech trends
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year commercialization potential
- Facilitate executive innovation workshops translating future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Oversee venture-style incubation programs for emerging 2026-focused startups and partnerships
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies securing competitive advantages in next-gen markets
- Represent the company at global futurism conferences and thought leadership platforms
- Mentor cross-functional teams in design thinking methodologies for future-proof product development
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, futures research, or emerging technology leadership
- Proven track record commercializing cutting-edge technologies in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum applications, neuro-interfaces, climate tech, or synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent foresight methodology certification preferred
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex socio-technical ecosystems
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed innovation or futurism journals
- Experience scaling innovation programs from concept to $100M+ revenue impact
- Mastery of scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
