Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-state business models and customer experiences
- Produce quarterly 'Future Briefs' synthesizing AI, biotech, climate tech, and quantum computing impacts
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product roadmaps with 3-5 year vision horizons
- Build and manage a global network of futurist advisors and academic collaborators
- Champion 'future-back' thinking across all departments to align short-term actions with long-term goals
- Present strategic narratives to investors and board members with data-backed confidence
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, synthetic biology) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into executive action plans
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., WFS, APF) or equivalent practical experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 3-5 year strategic foresight implementations
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on future-proofing strategies
