Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for 2026 market readiness
- Develop strategic frameworks for organizational adaptation to disruptive technological shifts
- Facilitate executive workshops and stakeholder engagements to align on future-state vision
- Produce trend analysis reports and predictive models for industry-specific innovation roadmaps
- Oversee pilot programs for next-gen solutions with measurable ROI metrics
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with startups, research institutions, and industry pioneers
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking methodologies and agile implementation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic consulting, innovation management, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-state technology strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., generative AI, neurotech, Web3)
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP, WFS) or advanced degree in strategic foresight
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience delivering C-suite-level strategic briefings
- Prior experience in Silicon Valley tech ecosystem or high-growth startup environments
- Mastery of scenario planning tools and predictive analytics platforms
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, journals, conferences)
