Responsibilities
- Anticipate technological disruptions and market shifts through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Develop strategic roadmaps for integrating 2026-era technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, climate AI)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future capabilities
- Produce predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for 3-5 year horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs to pioneer breakthrough innovations
- Advise executive leadership on future-proofing organizational capabilities and talent strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years experience in technology forecasting or strategic innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, synthetic biology, climate tech)
- Proven ability to translate complex future scenarios into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and technical teams
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (IEEE, MIT Press, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of future-oriented initiatives
