Responsibilities
- Map and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends through 2026 horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for product innovation and market positioning
- Partner with R&D teams to accelerate adoption of breakthrough technologies
- Deliver executive foresight briefings and trend impact assessments quarterly
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational vision with future realities
- Author thought leadership publications on disruptive market shifts
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AI ethics, or space commercialization
- Published thought leader with keynote speaking experience at global tech forums
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Proficiency in horizon scanning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact on organizational transformation through foresight
