Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Horizon Map, identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal transformations
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for executive leadership, quantifying impact probabilities and mitigation strategies
- Author the annual 'Future Forward' whitepaper, establishing thought leadership in exponential technologies
- Partner with product teams to embed 2026-vision principles into roadmaps and innovation pipelines
- Establish global intelligence networks with futurists, academic institutions, and policy think tanks
- Present strategic foresight findings to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Mentor junior futurists while curating cutting-edge foresight methodologies and tools
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or Strategic Innovation (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, trend analysis, or C-level innovation leadership
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or paradigm shifts
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and quantitative forecasting
- Proven track record influencing multi-stakeholder strategic decisions
- Deep understanding of AI ethics, biotech governance, and sustainable development frameworks
- Exceptional executive communication with ability to translate complex futures into compelling narratives
