Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts through 2026
- Develop predictive frameworks for emerging markets and industry transformation
- Design and facilitate strategic foresight workshops for executive stakeholders
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with future trends
- Establish early-warning systems for emerging risks and opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, trend analysis, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and systems thinking
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization capabilities for complex concepts
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Thinking (e.g., from APF)
- Published thought leadership on future trends or technological disruption
