Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and consumer behavior to identify transformative opportunities for 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, impact assessments, and future-state roadmaps
- Collaborate with R&D and product teams to align innovation initiatives with long-term market evolution
- Present executive-level strategic briefings translating future insights into actionable business priorities
- Build and lead a cross-functional futurist task force to incubate next-generation concepts
- Author thought leadership publications and industry whitepapers positioning our thought leadership
- Monitor emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their disruptive potential
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional data synthesis skills with ability to translate complex information into compelling narratives
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their socioeconomic implications
- Strong stakeholder management experience with executive leadership teams
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology publications
