Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026-2030 strategic roadmaps for emerging technology verticals
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, and bioengineering
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Partner with C-suite executives to embed foresight into corporate strategy
- Produce annual 'State of 2026' reports for executive stakeholders
- Curate and lead external futurist networks and thought leadership forums
- Identify and mitigate existential risks through strategic foresight frameworks
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology forecasting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Certification in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, WFS)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating published future-focused thought leadership
- Experience with futures simulation tools and predictive analytics platforms
