Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026 technology foresight strategy integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing
- Lead scenario planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats across global markets
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into current development cycles
- Establish an innovation ecosystem through strategic partnerships with academic institutions and startups
- Produce high-impact thought leadership content (whitepapers, keynote speeches) positioning FutureTech as a future-shaping authority
- Mentor a dedicated team of futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or technology consulting with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercialized products or services
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field required
- Deep understanding of emerging tech paradigms (AGI, nanotech, neurotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from foresight academy) preferred
