Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze emerging technological, social, and economic trends impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for market positioning and product development
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-focused initiatives
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions addressing future challenges
- Establish thought leadership through whitepapers and industry keynotes
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitive disruption signals
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, or related field
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Experience with AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech preferred
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., AC/SF) a plus
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
