Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario modeling
- Produce executive-ready reports and visualizations translating future projections into actionable business strategies
- Collaborate with C-suite leadership to align future roadmaps with company vision and investment priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed foresight methodologies across product, marketing, and R&D teams
- Identify emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and assess their disruptive potential
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Monitor geopolitical, environmental, and socioeconomic megatrends affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic planning, futures research, or innovation consulting
- Proven experience developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Economics, or related field
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with portfolio of foresight deliverables
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFCS preferred)
- Experience advising executive teams on disruptive risk/opportunity assessment
