Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Reports' mapping technological, social, and economic megatrends
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for disruptive futures
- Establish strategic partnerships with emerging tech incubators and academic research institutions
- Design and implement foresight methodologies across product development lifecycle
- Present futures intelligence to investors, board members, and industry consortiums
- Monitor global patent landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting emerging technologies
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-thinking frameworks and innovation practices
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research with industry impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional command of scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning
- Experience advising C-suite on disruptive technology adoption strategies
- Portfolio of published futures forecasts with documented business outcomes
- Fluency in futures analysis tools (e.g., TrendMapper, Foresight Platform)
