Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ technological and market evolution
- Lead scenario-planning workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Analyze emerging trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their industry implications
- Produce actionable white papers and executive briefings on future-state landscapes
- Partner with R&D teams to align innovation pipelines with long-term strategic goals
- Establish KPIs to track future-readiness across organizational functions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or emerging technology analysis
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into executable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional data visualization and narrative-building skills for complex concepts
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from APF or Foresight Practitioner)
- Published thought leadership on future trends in top-tier industry publications
