Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify emerging technologies and societal trends through 2026
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for market disruption and innovation
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business plans
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote presentations on future trends
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic initiatives and adaptation metrics
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-focused products and services
- Analyze geopolitical shifts and their impact on industry evolution
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing multi-year future strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and trend analysis tools
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Futures Studies (e.g., from University of Houston)
