Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Analyze quantum computing, biotech, and AI convergence opportunities
- Present strategic roadmaps to executive stakeholders and investors
- Identify and mitigate future-proofing risks across organizational systems
- Build partnerships with academic labs and government innovation initiatives
- Produce thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a 2026 trendsetter
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or emerging tech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-relevant domains (quantum, neurotech, etc.)
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Track record of executing multi-year innovation roadmaps
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complexity
