Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies and market trends through 2030
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for emerging risks and opportunities in AI ethics, climate tech, and neuro interfaces
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize complex data into strategic roadmaps
- Author thought leadership publications and present at industry conferences
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready capabilities into development pipelines
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory developments impacting tech innovation
- Maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex interdependencies
- Certification in Futures Studies or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Published thought leadership in tech or business strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, Delphi method)
- Advanced degree in technology, business, or futures studies required
