Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology and market trend forecasts using AI-driven analytics and human intelligence synthesis
- Design strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum computing, neurotech, climate adaptation)
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with executive teams to prepare for disruptive futures
- Author quarterly 'Horizon Scan' reports published in top industry publications
- Build and manage a global network of futurist researchers and innovation partners
- Translate foresight insights into actionable product development pipelines
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or trend analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and horizon scanning techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Experience publishing in peer-reviewed foresight journals or major media outlets
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three major trend predictions that materialized
