Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 Strategic Horizon Map, identifying disruptive technologies, market shifts, and societal inflection points
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership, modeling 3-5 year strategic pathways
- Conduct horizon scanning across quantum computing, AI ethics, bio-convergence, and climate tech domains
- Author quarterly Future Briefs translating complex foresight into executable business strategies
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global futurist forums and thought leadership summits
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, Strategic Foresight, or equivalent discipline
- 7+ years experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into market-leading initiatives
- Expertise in scenario modeling, trend analysis, and weak signal detection
- Proficiency in foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP-V, causal layered analysis)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences and technical teams
- Portfolio demonstrating published thought leadership or implemented future-oriented strategies
